Hebrew Senior Life is seeking a Security Officer to patrol campus areas on foot, monitor for fires, vandalism, and suspicious activity, and respond to emergencies. The role involves collaborating with local and state agencies and supporting medical staff during incidents.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Prior security experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Obtain Non-Violent Crisis Prevention certification annually once employed by Hebrew Senior Life.
• Must be professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious and results-oriented.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Responds to alarms and security emergencies.
• Responds to requests for security assistance, including door unlocks, escorts, and alarms.
• Completes activity logs, incident reports and safety audits as directed by management.
• Completes tours of assigned areas as prescribed in post orders.
• Performs special projects as assigned.
