Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Officer Building Patrol Inspection in Santa Ana, CA. This part-time unarmed patrol role focuses on visible presence, tenant and visitor assistance, and security of commercial real estate locations.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents following site procedures. A Guard Card/License is preferred and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor entrances/exits and visitor activity; verify credentials and maintain visitor/incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Report maintenance concerns and hazards to site management.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity; verify credentials as required; and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, access control issues, and other property-related observations to site management or designated personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
