Shift: 3/12's 6am-6pm (Thursday, Friday, Saturday), 12:00am-6:30pm (Wednesday), OFF (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)

The role you’ll contribute:

The Security Officer II performs security duties through professional interaction with the public, patients, employees, and administrators. Responsibilities include responding to calls, assisting in emergency and non-emergency situations, investigating safety hazards, incidents, and criminal activities, and patrolling designated areas to ensure safety and security.

• Proactively patrol assigned areas and perform security tasks to maintain life safety standards.
• Investigate suspicious activities and report hazards to the Security Operations Center.
• Respond appropriately to emergency, non-emergency, and alarm calls.
• Administer initial first aid as trained.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Basic Training certification or equivalent within six months of hire.
• Driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Meet departmental testing requirements (mental, physical, etc.) if applicable.
