Schedule: Full-time/Evening

Shift: 3/12's 6am-6pm (Thursday, Friday, Saturday); 12:00am-6:30pm (Wednesday); OFF (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)

The role you’ll contribute:

The Security Officer II performs security duties through professional interactions with the public, patients, employees, and administrators. Responds to calls, assists in emergency and non-emergency situations, investigates and documents safety hazards, incidents, and criminal activities. Patrols designated areas to ensure safety and security. Demonstrates initiative, judgment, and competence in duties. Participates in outstanding customer service, maintaining respectful relationships. Requires completion of physical and psychological fitness screenings.

• Investigates suspicious activity and hazards, reports to Security Operations Center, and keeps supervisors informed.
• Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls, using good judgment to determine appropriate actions.
• Administers first aid as trained and appropriate.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification from the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) or equivalent within six months of hire
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Meet departmental testing requirements (mental, physical, etc.)
