Job summary

Citizens Medical Center is seeking a dedicated security professional to patrol and secure facilities, control crowds, and respond to emergencies. You will also investigate incidents, manage parking policies, and transport deceased patients as needed.

Strong communication and report-writing skills are essential. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years in healthcare security or related field, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Two (2) years of healthcare security experience or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Associates degree or higher preferred.
Private Security Officer License and/or IAHSS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Patrols facility and secures premises.
Controls crowds and responds to emergency codes.
Enforces parking and traffic policy.
Investigates incidents and prepares reports.
Transports deceased patients.
Monitors disturbances, thefts, vandalism and assaults.
Assists with combative patients and uses de-escalation techniques.
