Job summary

Citizens Medical Center in Victoria, TX is seeking an efficient switchboard operator to manage the hospital’s main line, route calls, page physicians, and assist security as needed.

Responsibilities include monitoring alarms, responding to emergency codes, and maintaining logs to ensure accurate communication and prompt service. This role requires professional telephone etiquette and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years customer service or telephone experience.

JOB SUMMARY

Answer incoming calls to the hospital switchboard and distribute to appropriate personnel. Monitor alarms and codes and respond according to procedures. Page physicians on the loud speaker. Provide communication to Security officers through radio contact. Provide answering service functions as needed.

Job Specific:
