Job summary

Baptist Health Nassau location seeks a Security Officer for the Protective Services Department on a full-time night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:15 AM. Primary duties include patrolling and monitoring hospital properties to ensure patient, visitor, and staff safety.

The role requires 1–2 years of law enforcement or security experience and a high school diploma (associate degree preferred). A level II background screening is required for this position at Baptist Nassau.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor Baptist Nassau properties to ensure safety and security.
• Provide escort services for patients, visitors, and staff as needed.
• Respond to unsafe situations and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Enforce hospital parking regulations and assist individuals with vehicle issues.
• Maintain vigilance by reporting unusual circumstances and coordinating with security teams.
