Qualifications

• 1–2 years law enforcement experience preferred.
• 1–2 years security officer experience preferred.
• High School Diploma required; Associate or Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report unusual circumstances and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor for safety hazards to protect individuals from harm.
• Provide escort services to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Respond to unsafe situations promptly and effectively.
• Enforce hospital parking regulations.
• Assist individuals with vehicle problems when needed.

Baptist Health is looking to add a Security Officer to our Protective Services Department at our Baptist Nassau location.

This is a full-time, night shift opportunity position working from 6:00 PM - 6:15 AM. The Security Officer's primary function is to assure the day-to-day safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling and monitoring the medical center properties. As patient safety and experience are top priority this growing team is currently implementing new technologies such as metal detectors.

The Security Officer will be located at Baptist Nassau.
