As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming experience for guests, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, families, staff, volunteers, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols in a cultural institution setting.
• Monitor entrances, exhibit areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas; observe and report unusual activity, hazards, policy concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, crowd management, and documentation of incidents, observations, and daily activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
