Allied Universal in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Security Officer to join our unarmed patrol team. You will protect client sites, conduct routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

We offer a full-time schedule with day shifts and a pay rate of $17.75 per hour. A high school diploma, background check, and drug screening are required, with a valid driver's license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity; report unusual conditions or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner following escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions in required reports and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Response in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do

• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
