Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Badge Control Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN. You'll provide customer service, conduct routine unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Role requires adherence to site policies, documentation of incidents, and collaboration with site contacts. Full-time schedule with day and night shifts, starting at $17.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances and exits; verify authorized access and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicating to leadership.

As a Security Officer Badge Control Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas; verify authorized access in accordance with site policies; and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
