Job summary

Allied Universal in Lebanon, IN is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role to protect clients across diverse sites. This full-time position requires patrolling, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and maintaining a calm, professional presence while delivering excellent customer service.

The driving post requires a valid driver's license and adherence to site policies. Pay is $20.00 per hour with a consistent schedule and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license, access control/badge experience preferred, customer service experience preferred, CPR/First Aid preferred, age 18+ for unarmed roles, high school diploma or equivalent, background check required, drug screen required, licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation per site requirements.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sat: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business location, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
