As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and assisting visitors and employees. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally, and support security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and support authorized entry to commercial real estate facilities.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, access-control issues, and observations in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
