This full-time role requires at least two years of security experience, willingness to work in a hospital morgue, and the ability to respond professionally to incidents.

As a Security Officer Hospital Morgue Security Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas throughout a healthcare location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, respond to situations with professionalism, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, patient-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and the reporting of unauthorized access or policy concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
