Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Warehouse Patrols in South Portland, ME. In this unarmed, full-time role, you will patrol the distribution facility, deter incidents, manage access control, and provide courteous customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a retail distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain logs of arrivals, departures, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed by procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity in clear, timely reports and communicate relevant information to leadership.

As a Security Officer Warehouse Patrols in South Portland, ME, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control and badge processes, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
