As a Security Officer Mobile Security in SALINAS, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a busy retail plaza, you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy while providing professional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $21.26 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat04:00 AM - 12:00 PMSun04:00 AM - 12:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.


• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.


• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
