Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in West Hartford, CT. You will patrol, monitor, and safeguard client locations, delivering strong customer service and proactive incident response.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour and a structured night-time schedule. You will perform regular patrols, document activities, and uphold safety and security policies across assigned sites.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in West Hartford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a driving Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, observe and report activity, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business location and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete required reports, logs, and other documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
