Job summary

Allied Universal® in Troy, OH is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer – Mobile Patrol Driver. Work schedule is Mon 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM and Tue 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, with a pay rate of $17.25 per hour.

You’ll provide customer service, monitor access points, and patrol assigned areas to deter incidents. A valid driver’s license is required, you must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass a background check and drug screen.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a food equipment location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and support security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and completed patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
