Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Streator, IL. You will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support site operations with clear communication. Overnight shifts are required as part of the schedule.

• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees and visitors while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization; maintain entry/exit records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and medical situations; notify site contacts and responders as needed.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, observations and communicate with supervisors.

As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while carrying out site-‑specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry, exit, and delivery documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
