As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License with a least 1 year of driving experience

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of chemical/petrochemical facility buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, hazardous conditions, and emergency information.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
