Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Hempstead, TX. You will provide responsive customer service, conduct routine patrols at a utilities location, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and your ability to follow site procedures during incidents and emergencies. The position is full-time with day shifts and pays $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Hempstead, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and applicable emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility operations areas, equipment locations, buildings, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Complete accurate patrol, incident, and daily activity reports, communicating observations involving facility infrastructure or electronic systems to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
