Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Garland, TX. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols and monitor access points to deter incidents as you support shoppers, employees, and visitors.

This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to meet driver policy requirements. The role offers full-time hours, day and night shifts, and opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal policy.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• State/local licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, associates and visitors by following site procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and document observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the retail location to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity involving merchandise and deliveries; report suspicious behavior to site leadership or law enforcement.
• Assist with traffic flow and incident reporting during peak shopping periods.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Garland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Professional at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist customers, employees, and visitors with professionalism. This driving position requires a valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, associates, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, retail location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity involving merchandise, deliveries, and restricted areas; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy concerns to site leadership and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Assist with traffic flow, customer assistance, and incident reporting during peak shopping periods, special events, and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
