Allied Universal in Columbus, GA is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will patrol facilities, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s people-first culture.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $15.24 per hour and a schedule that includes DayTime shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Columbus, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and drivers, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Observe loading and distribution operations for unusual activity, report security-related concerns promptly, and support a professional environment for employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
