Allied Universal is North America’s leading security and facility services company. In Syracuse, NY, the Security Guard Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver role supports a healthcare environment with professional customer service, a visible security presence, and reliable procedures.

This full-time, driving position pays $23.44 per hour with a rotating schedule. You will patrol, monitor access points, report incidents, and assist patients, visitors, staff and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may apply for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and clinicians while following policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and entries.

As a Security Guard Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.44 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and clinicians while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
