Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Albuquerque, NM. You will serve and safeguard clients across government facilities, performing routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents and provide professional customer service.

This full-time, unarmed position requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Shift: Mon–Fri 5:30 AM–1:30 PM.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security procedures at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries calmly and follow established protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of government buildings and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior or violations to site contacts or responders.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports per site procedures.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned locations, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
