Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control activities, and emergency response protocols at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as assigned, and document visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate emergency personnel and law enforcement when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, unusual activity, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:
