Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Wichita Falls, TX. You will safeguard clients by performing routine unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced tech/media environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at the site by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor/delivery authorization per site procedures; maintain logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Document patrol observations and incidents clearly and promptly; communicate with site personnel and leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, facility concerns, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures; maintain accurate logs and reports as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities clearly and promptly while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
