As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Computer Reporting in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report irregularities, damaged property, or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
