Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Lexington, KY. You will monitor and protect the facility, deter incidents, and provide exceptional service to employees and visitors at a food and beverage production location.

In this full-time role, you will conduct patrols, control access points, respond to alarms, and document incidents while upholding Allied Universal’s culture of teamwork, integrity, and care. Training and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum age is 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, reporting as required.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the facility, production areas, parking, loading docks, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and direct deliveries per site procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and security observations accurately.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and assist with directing deliveries and personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
