Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Entry Management in Three Rivers, TX. The role focuses on access-control procedures at a chemical/petrochemical site, verifying credentials, and maintaining logs while delivering customer service.

You will work a part-time schedule with driving responsibilities, and you may be required to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with laws and company policy.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen are required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct individuals per site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, restricted areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized entry and identify security concerns.
• Complete required reports, logs, and documentation related to access activity, incidents, and site observations.

• Mon 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access‑control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, restricted areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security‑related concerns.
• Complete required reports, logs, and documentation related to access activity, incidents, and site observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
