Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Mebane, NC. The position involves protecting properties, controlling access, and assisting tenants and visitors. You will maintain accurate front-desk logs and respond to incidents as needed.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, a valid NC Driver's License, and an NC Security License. Evening and weekend shifts are common, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum one year of security experience.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving history.
• HS diploma or GED.
• NC Security License required (can be obtained).
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen, MVR, and background check.
• Able to meet physical functions (lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs, weather).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties on duty.
• Maintain logs at front desk regarding people or property.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to deter theft.
• Respond to incidents and record data for management.

Responsibilities of Security Rovers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum one year of previous security experience required.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving history Required
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• NC Security License Required (Can be obtained through our office if selected)
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen, MVR (motor vehicle report), and criminal background check.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evenings and weekend availability required
