Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer at the W Sam Houston Parkway location in Houston, TX. You will monitor assigned areas, patrol facilities, and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires 1+ year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening. CPR certification is preferred, with schedules including daytime and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow site procedures.
• Conduct patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain security logs and reports.
• Observe and report hazards to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
