Job Description

As a Security Officer - Aero Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a secure environment for all personnel. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within an aerospace and defense environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Support emergency response activities according to site protocols and instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
