As a Security Officer - Access Patrols in Yonkers, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in access control at a prominent food and beverage production location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon	04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Fri	04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Sat	04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Sun	04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and maintain a visible presence.
• Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
