Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Santa Teresa, NM to protect clients across automotive manufacturing, office, and perimeter areas. You will support a dynamic, welcoming team and contribute to a culture that positively impacts communities and customers we serve.

Must be bilingual English and Spanish. Pay rate is $15.25 per hour with a Part Time schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Age 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and carry out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols across the site and document observations.
• Monitor access points, verify entry, and assist with visitors, contractors, and deliveries.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout automotive manufacturing, office, parking, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and promptly reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
