Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a Manufacturing Center in South Las Vegas, NV. You will provide security, monitor access, perform patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service with a visible presence.

This role offers flexible Day/Evening shifts, a competitive pay rate of $19.00 per hour, and growth opportunities within a leading North American security and facilities services company.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of combined security-related experience or a college degree.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or potential policy concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and/or shift activity records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notify appropriate personnel, and document actions taken in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with monitoring alarm, camera, and/or access-control systems as assigned, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
