Job Description

As a Security Officer Luxury Highrise in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a hotel and resort location, you will create a welcoming presence while monitoring access, greeting guests, and responding to security-related concerns. You will support a positive guest experience through clear communication, professionalism, and attentive service. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Wed10:30 PM - 07:00 AM Thur10:30 PM - 07:00 AM Fri10:30 PM - 07:00 AM Sat10:30 PM - 07:00 AM Sun10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct guests and visitors, verify access as required, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence.
• Monitor lobby and entrance activity, observe cameras and alarm panels when assigned, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, key, package, and incident records in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
