Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking to fill the position of a Security Flex Officer.

The Security Flex Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. They act as a visible deterrent to crime and rule infractions, and detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near their posts, which may threaten property, clients, guests, or employees.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with personnel and the public.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Driving positions require a valid driver’s license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate a vehicle safely.
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
• Available to work at multiple locations, including special projects, call-offs, vacations, and open shifts.
• Flexible availability, including any time and day.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills for operating wireless technology.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Physical requirements include working in various environments, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds, climbing stairs or ladders, and standing or walking for long periods.
