Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Logistics Warehouse in Ontario, CA. This full-time role requires managing access, patrolling the distribution site, and delivering strong customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel.

You will operate in a driving post with a $20.00/hour pay rate, requiring a valid driver's license and compliance with our driver policy. Shifts run Monday through Thursday afternoons.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license as per policy.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the distribution location, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and property damage by observing activity, documenting incidents, and following established reporting procedures.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Logistics Warehouse in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to support a secure environment. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
