Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer at our La Habra, CA location. You will help safeguard the distribution center by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and assisting visitors and employees in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This role offers a flexible, part-time schedule with potential for shift flexibility through our Claim a Shift platform. Prior badge experience and a guard card are preferred, and you must meet age and background requirements.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Background investigation will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be needed prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

• Mon: 03:30 PM - 07:30 PM
• Tue: 03:30 PM - 07:30 PM
• Wed: 03:30 PM - 07:30 PM
• Thur: 03:30 PM - 07:30 PM
• Fri: 03:30 PM - 07:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and driver entry records, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, vehicle entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
