Job summary

Marksman Security is hiring Security Officers for a Logistics Facility auxiliary role in California. The position offers $20.00 per hour with weekend and holiday availability and requires active CA State training and Guard Card licensing.

The role involves observing, patrolling, controlling access points, and reporting incidents while delivering strong customer service and ensuring safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid State BSIS California Guard Card.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Computer skills are a must.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Outdoor environment in diverse weather conditions.
• Security guard experience preferred, not required.
• Must successfully pass Pre-Employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Observe surroundings at all times, identify suspicious activity and report to the proper personnel.
• Monitor access points; check badges to ensure only authorized individuals enter facilities.
• Deterrence and patrols to prevent theft, vandalism or other crimes.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid action, assist evacuations, or provide first aid.
• Maintain detailed incident and activity records for investigations and follow-up.
• Provide excellent customer service, assist visitors and employees with information.
