Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking Security Officers for a Logistics Facility in California. The role pays $20.00 per hour with weekend and holiday availability required and shifts that may vary from day to night.

The ideal candidate has active CA State training and Guard Card licensing. You will perform observation, access control, emergency response, incident reporting, and customer service for employees, visitors and contractors, in an auxiliary staffing capacity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CA BSIS Guard Card required.
• Strong customer service skills and good communication.
• Experience in security or customer service preferred.
• Able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Comfortable with outdoor environments in varied weather conditions.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Remain alert at all times and observe surroundings for suspicious activity and ensure badges are visible.
• Monitor access points, verify badges, and prevent tailgating.
• Conduct patrols, deter crime, and respond to emergencies.
• Document incidents with detailed notes for investigations.
• Provide customer service and assist employees, visitors and contractors.
