Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a vigilant Security Officer for a logistics distribution center. You will monitor premises, manage access, patrol the site, and enforce client-site rules to protect people and assets.

This full-time role requires 18+, a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while working independently.

Security Officer - Logistics Distribution Center - Full Time

Primary Location: Goodyear, AZ

Wage: $20.00/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.


• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.


• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.


• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.


• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.


• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.


• Conduct tours of the property.


• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.


• High School Diploma or GED required.


• Above average computer / technology skills needed.


• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.


• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.


• Must be able to work independently.


• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.


• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.


• Must have a professional demeanor.


• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
