Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer - Full Time at the Primary Location in Glendale, AZ.

The role offers a wage of $19.00 per hour and involves monitoring premises, performing access control, and patrolling multiple client sites to maintain a safe environment. Responsibilities include conflict resolution, reporting safety concerns, and providing information to employees and visitors while following post orders and site rounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills required.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out duties as assigned for the site.

Wage: $19.00/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
