Job summary

Allied Universal in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Security Driver to protect client sites across logistics and distribution locations. You will perform patrols by vehicle and on foot, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months security experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a night schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Security Driver in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
