Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - Logistics in San Antonio, TX. You will provide unarmed security, monitor access, perform patrols, and report incidents while delivering excellent guest and staff service.

The position emphasizes safety, incident response, and collaboration with site leadership; CPR and guard card are preferred, with required licensing as applicable.

Qualifications

• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, members, visitors, employees, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, loading areas, docks, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, vehicle traffic, and package or freight movement in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol hospitality and logistics locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, report security-related concerns, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to guests, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
