Allied Universal’s West Palm Beach location is seeking a Security Officer Lobby Screener. This role screens personnel and visitors, monitors access points, and maintains a secure, welcoming environment for a logistics and distribution site.

The position is full-time with a daytime schedule and a pay rate of $15.68 per hour. A Guard Card/license is required, and applicants will undergo background checks and a drug screen as part of the process.

• Six months of security-related experience.

• Monitor access points, report suspicious activity, and respond calmly to incidents.
• Perform regular patrols around the facility and surrounding areas; adjust to location requirements.

Pay Rate: $15.68 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM; Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM; Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM; Thu 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM; Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with established access-control and prohibited-item procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization prior to permitting entry to controlled areas.
• Monitor access points, report suspicious activity or policy violations, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least six months of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
