Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in West Palm Beach, FL to screen people, packages and belongings, monitor access points, and support site operations at a logistics and distribution location. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and belongings in accordance with established site procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, and access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for individuals entering designated areas, maintaining accurate logs and required documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, dock areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening people, packages, and/or belongings, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations. Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
