Job Description

As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Asbury Park, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will create a welcoming first impression while supporting a secure, professional environment. You will manage visitor access, monitor entry activity, communicate clearly with guests and team members, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications office location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate visitor and access records in accordance with site requirements.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, greet guests professionally, and communicate visitor arrivals to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Monitor front desk activity and report unusual activity, access concerns, and security-related incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
