Job summary

Allied Universal in El Paso, TX is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Lobby Operations to provide front-desk security and customer service at a technology environment. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Answer phones, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel, and communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Monitor security-related systems, alarms, cameras, and access-control activity from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and documenting events as required.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Lobby Operations in El Paso, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri06:30 AM - 04:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
